Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA)
Chinese medicine is a regulated health profession in Australia, with AHPRA’s CMBA responsible for regulating Chinese medicine. Our Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine is fully accredited by the CMBA across all three divisions (herbal processing, herbal dispensing and acupuncture).
Graduates who wish to practise as a Chinese medicine practitioner in Australia are required to register with the CMBA. Registration also allows practitioners to use professional titles of Chinese medicine practitioner, Acupuncturist, Chinese herbal medicine practitioner, Chinese herbal dispenser and Oriental medicine practitioner in Australia.
Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS)
CRICOS is a government register that lists all Australian education providers to offer courses to people studying in Australia on student visas and the courses offered. SITCM is registered with CRICOS to deliver the Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine to international students.
