Honorary Affiliates

The Board of Directors of the Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SITCM) may bestow the lifelong title of “Honorary Affiliate” on select individuals. The purpose of this title is to recognise the exceptional contributions that its holders have made to SITCM in alignment with its Mission, Vision and Values.

SITCM’s current Honorary Affiliates are:

Professor Emeritus Basil Roufogalis

Basil has had an illustrious career in research and higher education leadership. He is a former Professor of the University of British Columbia and a former Pro Dean of the University of Sydney. Basil served as the Chair of SITCM's Board of Directors from 2013 to 2023. His guidance and support have been instrumental to SITCM successfully navigating the opportunities and challenges of this dynamic period.
